About Us

Center for Advanced Surgery (CAS) is the Lowcountry’s newest ambulatory surgery center located in Ladson, South Carolina. This state-of-the-art, 16,000 square foot facility was built in 2017 and offers patients world-class surgical care in a comfortable outpatient facility.

Center for Advanced Surgery specializes in ophthalmic and neuro-spine surgeries, and pain management.  CAS houses some of the most advanced surgical equipment available, including the Catalys femtosecond laser for cataract removal, ORA technology, small-incision cataract Phaco emulsifiers, surgical microscopes and YAG lasers.   Spine patients enjoy access to the type of state-of-the-art technology found in traditional hospital setting, but with the convenience and comfort of an Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Comfortable pre- and post-op areas are equipped with everything you need for a calm, and seamless experience on the day of your surgery. Each bay has curtains for privacy, and your care team is fully trained to accommodate patient needs while partnering with your surgeon to ensure the best experience possible.

CAS is conveniently located at 3821 Commercial Center Drive off highway 78 in Ladson. The Center offers ample parking and is accessible for persons with disabilities.
